As I look what has happened in my life over the past 32 years. I am amazed at how far God has brought me. I am so very blessed at what God is doing in my life and I am constantly amazed at how much he just keeps blessing my life.
Have you ever just pondered on what your purpose in life is? Have you ever just got lost in conversation with God and told him about your dreams and ask him what your purpose on life is? I constantly ask him what my “CALLING” is. We are all equipped with different gifts, different passions, we are all different people.
Never dare to dream. Dream BIG!! God just wants you to ask him. He says: Ask and keep asking, seek and keep seeking, knock and keep knocking. You have not because you ask not.
Surrendering yourself is one of the biggest things you will ever do in life. You have to let go of YOUR pride. Let go of all of YOU!! When you let go of “SELF” and Fix Your Eyes On Jesus!!! Things fall into place. I went back and forth about going to grad school, now down deep I knew that I was supposed to go. I tend to always focus on others and not myself. Finally, a good friend of mine said to me “When are you going to do what you want?” You know I constantly pondered on that for a long time. I never want to hurt anyones feelings, and I can never say “NO” but as I really stopped and thought about what they said. It dawned on me that I have literally been living my life for everyone else instead of for myself, most of all I wasn’t surrendering to Gods call on my life.
My passion in life is to be a writer, an author, to create my own magazine, to encourage others through my life experiences, to let others know that Jesus loves them. You see when you surrender your life to the KING, everything falls into place the way God intended it. When you keep trying to do things your way, life is a bit rocky.
My prayer for you is that you will always keep God in the center of your life and that your will DREAM BIG!!
