Have you ever been lost? Have you went on a trip and went down a wrong road? Have you ever just felt lost and hopeless? Have you ever just been so scared that you just wanted things to fade into the distance? Have you ever just wanted to find the end?
I have to say that I could personally get lost anywhere. I have no sense of direction. I have to say that I have gone on a trip and got lost, because I did take the wrong road. I have to say that I have felt lost and hopeless. I have to say that I have felt scared and have wanted things to fade into the distance. I have to say that I have just wanted to find the end.
I want to be the first person to tell you that you are not alone. Whatever you are going through, just know you are not alone.
As I was walking through a corn maze this weekend. I couldn’t help but to really reflect after the maze was finished, how I actually felt during the maze. At times I was scared, at times I was laughing, at times I felt lost, at times I really just wanted to get out of the maze. You see we as humans we want to find the end to the madness. We don’t want to face the reality that we need help or we can do this all on our own. If it wasn’t that we all were helping each other through the maze, we may still be out there. We were searching for the end.
When we finally found the end I was so excited!! I was so thankful that we were not in the maze anymore. I was over excited with joy and glad it was over.
You see folks. God wants to help you find the end. He wants to carry your load. He wants to help you find an end to the madness you are carrying inside of you. The doubts, fears, the feeling of not belonging, the feeling of discouragement, the feeling of hopelessness, the feeling that you can’t write another paper, whatever you are dealing with, going through, he wants to help you find the finish line.
I’m a runner! As a runner your goal is to reach the finish line strong. That may mean crawling, walking, running, sprinting… However, it takes you; you will do whatever it takes to reach the finish line.
God gave his life for us so that we don’t have to do everything by ourselves. He wants to do it for us. I know you all may think that I haven’t had my struggles, but I have. I am far from perfect. God can help you find the end to your problems. He doesn’t want us to be lukewarm, he wants us to be on fire for him. He wants to stir us up. My prayer for you is that you’d let this awesome God be your guide, and that you’d lay everything at the foot of his cross and surrender to him. God will heal you and restore you. He’s got great things for your life. You just have to answer the call. The choice is yours, but it has to be something you want.
Lord,
I pray for whoever is reading this that whatever is going on in their life. That you will allow them to give everything to you. I pray that they surrender to you and that they are made fresh and new. I pray that you would heal their hurt, their lives, I pray and ask all of this in your precious name. Amen.
Be Blessed!
Jamie
